Running in 2012
The NSW branch organises annual conferences and symposia for chapter representatives. The 2011 conference has been opened up to all members and other interested people as outlined below.
Museums Australia (NSW) invites you to Sydney for the symposium Place, Space,& Identity: New Directions for NSW Museums at Macquarie University 18-19 April 2011.
The symposium will explore new directions and opportunities for museums and galleries in New South Wales, following the publication of the Watts report on Museums and Galleries NSW in 2010 and coinciding with the development of a new strategic plan for visual arts and museum sectors in NSW by Arts NSW in 2011. The regular chapter representatives meeting and branch AGM will be held in conjunction with the symposium. More information.

Chapter representatives
The NSW Branch will be offering financial assistance to a designated representative from each chapter, including registration fee, travel and accommodation costs.
