NSW Far North Coast Chapter

The NSW Far North Coast Chapter was formed on May 8, 2004 under the leadership of Marea Buist, Yamba and Secretary Marie Humphries from Evans Head Museum. The inaugural meeting was held in Yamba on September 11, 2004. It covers the local government areas of Ballina, Clarence Valley, Lismore, Richmond Valley, and Tweed.

The aim of the Chapter is to tie together all the participating museums across geographical boundaries in the sharing of ideas, learning and maintaining communication between chapter and museums.

Museums participating include Casino, Evans Head, Lawrence, Lismore, Maclean,  Ballina, Bangalow, New Italy, Alstonville, Iluka and Yamba.
