Advocacy

The National Council and its divisions lobby on behalf of Museums Australia. Changes in legislation, museum funding and policy shifts are monitored closely. In order to ensure Australia's material heritage is safeguarded, representations are made, advice provided and appropriate consultation undertaken, to inform key government and community decisions.
