Judges comment:  the combination of coated and uncoated stocks and the die-cut on cover is an ‘attention getter’, excellent balance of white space on each page and subtlety of type does not conflict with images of Tucker’s art.

Judges comment: whole publication respects the images, and the textural quality of the paper stock and the earthiness to the grain of the cover image compliments the finish of the sculptures.

Judges comment: this is such a considered publication but with simplicity of design, the small sketchbook size is lovely to hold and there is an excitement in the layout that makes one ‘want to go and sit in a park and look at it’, and there is a boldness in revealing the art first with the text at the back of the book.

Judges comment: its cover texture engages one immediately but this catalogue does not disappoint internally with the first 10 pages introducing and tempting the reader even before the title page, it is a celebration of the artist’s work, excellent combination of installation and detail images, extremely high degree of technical expertise in its production.
