Council of Australian University Museums and Collections (CAUMAC) Special Interest Group

CAUMAC links all those working for, or interested in, Australia 's 200-plus university museums and collections. It publishes two newsletters a year; conducts an annual national meeting (usually as part of Museums Australia's Annual Conference); encourages university management to be responsible custodians of their portion of the Distributed National Collection; informs the promotion, care and utility of this sector in general; and focuses on ways these museums interface with the wider museum community.
