Museum Historians' Special Interest Group

The Historians' Special Interest Group provides an information and support network for museum historians working throughout Australia. It organises sessions at the Museums Australia National Conference each year, and special events such as tours and talks.

The Historians' SIG issues a periodic newsletter, keeping members up-to-date with new museum exhibitions, research projects and special events. Click here to download a sample of the Historians SIG newsletter.

The Historians' SIG is co-ordinated by a Committee President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer and Newsletter Editor, with Ordinary Members representing most states and territories.
