The Australian Heritage Database contains information about more than 20,000 natural, historic and Indigenous places.
Australian Culture sector websites - Browse facility
The database seedlist has over 4,200 Australian culture websites.This database includes all Australian national, state and major regional cultural collecting institutions as well as non-government websites which were evaluated as significant to the culture sector. Users can browse the database seed list by category, audience or location, inlcuding a museums and galleries category from the codes provided..
Australian National Shipwrecks Database (ANSDB)
This database includes all known shipwrecks in Australian waters. Features of the ANSDB include the capacity to attach images to shipwrecks, the ability to link shipwrecks to relics recovered from shipwreck sites, site environment information for divers and site managers and a history field with the ability to attach documents that include names of passengers and crew.
The information in the ANSDB has been collected by each of the State and Territory historic shipwreck agencies or supplied by collecting institutions holding historic shipwreck objects.
Culture Victoria - Victorian Cultural Network (VCN)
Network (VCN) is a collaborative partnership between five of the Victorian arts agencies: the Arts Centre, Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI), National Gallery of Victoria. Its website Culture Victoria (CV) breaks new ground in delivering broad and diverse access to the digital collections of all the VCN partners and a range of metropolitan and regional organisations through a single website.
