Tax incentives for donations

The Government encourages donations to the cultural sector by initiating various tax incentive schemes:

Cultural Gifts Program - Public libraries, museums and art galleries are utilising these incentives to attract significant cultural donations from private collectors.
Register of Cultural Organisations- Inclusion on the Register assists cultural organisations to attract much needed private sector support for their activities by offering donors the incentive of a tax deduction.
