The National Railway Museum, situated in Port Adelaide, South Australia, is seeking to fill the role of Exhibition & Displays Technician for two days per week.
The Exhibition & Displays Technician is responsible for the management and coordination of the displays and exhibitions at the National Railway Museum. The Exhibition & Displays Technician will work independently, but also collaboratively with other National Railway Museum staff members and relevant volunteers to plan, produce and deliver the exhibitions and displays of the Museum.
The successful applicant will be able to problem solve and think practically, but also creatively. They will possess, are in the process of attaining, or are intending to attain, a tertiary qualification in a relevant field; such as museum studies, social sciences, arts, multimedia, technology, fine art and design, or media studies. Experience working or volunteering in a museum or gallery would be viewed favorably.
